THE NOSTALGIA FACTORY is a limited edition book of art and poetry that documents an installaion of mixed media artworks by Barbara Milman. The installation, first shown in Sacramento, California in 1998, confronted visual representations of ethnic and racial stereotypes. THE NOSTALGIA FACTORY contains color photographs of Milman's art work, selected historical texts, and the work of contemporary poets addressing the social and racial issues raised by the installation.
